A set of six Danish Rococo style early 19th century walnut dining chairs with carved splats, upholstered seats and cross stretchers. Each of this set of six Rococo style dining chairs features a carved crest resting on a tall, slightly slanted sinuous pierced back with carved splat. The upholstered seat with removable cushion is adorned on its skirt with a delicately carved floral motif. Each chair is raised on carved angled cabriole legs and scrolled feet in the front and straight legs in the black, slightly splayed in their lower section. The knees are delicately carved with stylized acanthus leaves. A serpentine cross-stretcher connects the legs to one another. With its elegant Rococo lines, beautifully complimented by the warm patina of the walnut wood, this set of six Danish Rococo dining chairs will be an excellent choice to decorate any dining room.
