Born in Italy during the third quarter of the 19th century, this exquisite table features a circular top adorned with painted angels, sitting on a cloud and playing musical instruments, symbolizing Liberal Arts. They are surrounded by a curving diamond-shaped medallion made of garlands, accented with delicate flowers in the corners. The apron is highlighted with dark banding and conceals a pull-out drawer. The table is raised on four thin splaying legs, decorated with small garlands of flowers and connected to one another through a lovely lower shelf adorned with musical instruments.
