SOLD - A French Rococo style carved, painted and parcel-gilt wooden eight-light chandelier from the 19th century, with scrolled arms and acanthus leaves décor. Born in France during the 19th century, this elegant chandelier features a central carved stem, adorned with volutes, parcel-gilt acanthus leaves and fluted motifs. The lower section supports eight exquisite scrolling arms, decorated with rosettes and acanthus leaves. The bobèches, embellished with petite beads on their trim, support the candle sleeves. Painted in a soft color highlighted with golden accents, this French Rococo style 19th century chandelier will brighten up any home beautifully, whether used in a foyer, living room or dining room. The chandelier has been wired for the US and is ready to be hung.
