An English 18th century Georgian period oak centre table with two side drawers, carved molding, turned legs and side stretchers. This English oak console table features a rectangular planked top surrounded by an exquisite carved egg-and-dart molding on the edges. Contrasting perfectly with this beautiful top, the simple apron comprises two lateral drawers that open with thin brass pulls. The table is raised on four turned legs with peg construction on their knees, connected to one another with plain side stretchers. The ensemble rests on bun feet. With its nice patina and elegant 18th century Georgian lines, this English table would be a wonderful addition to any home, perhaps used as a center table in a foyer or console table in a living room or hallway.
