SOLD A set of six Danish painted Hepplewhite shield style dining chairs from the 19th century. This set of six dining room chairs was born in 19th century Denmark. Each chair features a carved shield back with urn and swag motifs, typical of the ornate neoclassical Hepplewhite style. Each seat has been recovered with a double welt cotton upholstery. The ensemble is raised on four elegant tapered legs with spade feet.
