A Spanish early 17th century wooden console table with two drawers and geometric carving. Born in the early 1600s, this Spanish table features a rectangular top sitting above an exquisitely carved apron with very fine geometric carving. This apron comprises two dovetailed drawers and their metal pulls, separated by a central motif. The ensemble is raised on four slightly tapered legs with peg construction. The serene simplicity of the general lines is subtly contrasted by the richness of the carved décor, making this Spanish table, circa 1600 an excellent choice for any home, used as a sofa or console table.
