A French Louis XV style painted wood enfilade from the 19th century with three drawers over three doors. This French long buffet features a rectangular wooden top with beveled edges sitting over an off-white painted and carved body. Three dovetailed drawers are adorned with delicate volutes, creating a cartouche-like shape. Two carved rosettes separate the drawers from one another. Each of the three doors are decorated with slightly recessed panels topped with floral motifs. These motifs are echoed on the exquisite scalloped skirt. The ensemble is raised on short scrolled feet. The doors open to reveal two inner shelves offering great storage opportunities. The beautiful contrast between the darker wooden top and soft palette of the body, as well as the lovely curved Rococo lines typical of the Louis XV style, make this French 19th century enfilade an excellent choice for any living or dining room.
