1820s Dutch Three-Drawer Bombé Commode with Bleached Finish and Carved Apron PENT

A Dutch Baroque style bleached wood three-drawer bombé commode from the early 19th century. This Dutch chest-of-drawers features an exquisite two-plank shaped top sitting above three drawers, alternating convex and concave shapes. The angled side posts enliven the façade beautifully by creating additional depth. The carved skirt draws out attention downwards, leading our eye to the lion paw feet that adorn the front. With its bleached finish and sinuous lines, this 1820s three-drawer bombé commode born in the Netherlands will be a charming addition to any home, perhaps placed in a bedroom, living room or hallway.
