SOLD Set of Three English 19th Century Painted Leather Panels with Floral Decor

SOLD A set of three English leather painted panels with floral and architectural motifs from the late 19th century. We were immediately charmed by this exquisite set of three decorative panels. Born in England during the 19th century, they each depict stone pedestals and vases adorned with lovely bouquets of flowers. These elements take up the majority of the composition, leaving very little space for us to get an idea of our location. We are surely in a chateau, perhaps from the 17th or 18th century. The umber brown color of the background brings up the florals, greenery and architecture beautifully. Measure: Each panel is 18 inches wide and added together they total a width of 54.38 inches. Their tall proportions, the quality of their execution and the color palette make these three English, 19th century painted leather panels an amazing choice for any living room, bedroom or foyer, anchored by a commode or console table. You could also decide to have them mounted as a screen.
