A Baroque style walnut upholstered sofa from the Northern Piedmont area of Italy from the 19th century. This Italian sofa features a Baroque style frame, with a high carved camel back. The out-scrolling arms are upholstered in the same manner as the back and the seat with custom cushion. The sofa is raised on a scalloped skirt, as well as four short scrolled feet in the front and two straight in the back. The beautifully curved Silhouette, great patina and upholstery make this Italian 19th century canapé an excellent choice for any living room.
