This Swedish period Baroque painted wood cabinet from the early 19th century features an articulated bonnet, typical of the Baroque era, over two glass doors and five drawers. The paneled glass doors open to reveal three dark blue painted shelves. The lower section is made of four smaller drawers organized in pairs, over a single taller one. The cabinet is painted in a light creamy color, typical of the Scandinavian taste for a more luminous palette. The ensemble is raised on four scrolled bracket feet. The cabinet features its original hardware. Perfect for displaying your favorite decorative objects behind the glass doors and using the lower drawers to organize your home, this Swedish Baroque period cabinet circa 1810 would look wonderful anywhere in a home, perhaps in a living room, a family room or a foyer.
