An unusual French fruitwood two-drawer sofa table from the Alsace region, late 19th century. This French table features a rectangular top sitting above two drawers, a smaller one followed by a larger one, both opening thanks to a brass pull. The apron is beautifully scalloped on all sides. The table is raised on four tapering legs, delicately curved in their upper section. The warmth of the fruitwood, combined with the discreet elegance of the lines will make this French Alsatian table circa 1890 an excellent choice for any home, perhaps used as a sofa table. - Pent
