SOLD - A French Louis XV period ash rustic buffet from the mid-18th century, with two drawers over two doors. Created in France during the reign of King Louis XV nicknamed "Le Bien-Aimé" (the beloved), this buffet charms us with its very rustic appearance and elegant lines. Composed of multiple woods, ash being the primary, the buffet showcases a rectangular planked top with canted corners in the front, sitting above two drawers. Two doors below, visually separated from one another through a fluted panel, open to reveal inner shelves offering convenient storage space. The buffet is raised on scrolling feet in the front, connected to one another through a beautifully carved apron. With its Louis XV lines and rustic appearance, this French 1750s buffet will be a great addition to any dining room, living room or bathroom / powder room, used as a sink base.
