A French carved and painted wood six-light chandelier from the turn of the century, with central column and scrolling arms. Born in France during the late 19th-early 20th century, this exquisite chandelier features a central wooden column adorned with foliage motifs and topped with a carved canopy. Six scrolling arms in the lower section are supporting the bobèches with gadroons, and their candles sleeves. The chandelier, wired for the US and ready to be hung, presents a distressed finish with traces of white paint complimenting the wood coming through. With its graceful lines and lovely finish, this six-light chandelier circa 1900 will bring a touch of French elegance to any room.
