SOLD - Swedish Gustavian Style Extension Dining Room Table with Three Leaves and Apron

SOLD - A Swedish Gustavian style painted wood extension dining room table from the late 19th century with carved apron and three leaves. This Swedish dining room table features the clean silhouette typical of the Gustavian style. Without its additional leaves, the table is made of a round top surrounded by a reeded apron, sitting above four tapered legs. Three leaves have been custom-made, matching the two sides perfectly, including the carved apron. A removable fifth leg is then added to support the leaves. The light color, typical of the Scandinavian taste, pure lines and great possibility of extension make this Swedish Gustavian style dining room table circa 1890 an excellent, versatile choice for any kitchen used as a breakfast table, or any dining room. Placed under a striking chandelier, this table will complement any room beautifully. Retracted, the round table measures 47.25 inches of diameter.
