A pair of large scale French 19th century Louis XV style doors in alder wood, with custom-made door surrounds. This pair of French doors features an arched top, sitting above a pair of double doors, adorned with delicately carved recessed panels. The eye is immediately drawn to the central cartouches, surrounded by medium size panels at the bottom, while the largest ones are located at the top. The alternating sizes, combined with the curvy Louis XV lines, create a perfect ensemble that breaks any chances of monotony. The doors comprise their original hardware, keys and locks that have been restored. The surround is newly custom-made. With its lovely patina and great proportions, this pair of French alder wood doors from the 19th century will bring a touch of elegance to any room.
