The table top sits on a rectangular apron, whose linear appearance contrasts beautifully with the rounded lines of the upper section. The ensemble is raised on eight nicely tapered legs with pegged construction, resting on brass casters allowing the table to be moved easily. In its contracted version, the table will look wonderful as a center table or pushed against the wall, its side leaves flipping down, while in its extended state, it will be perfect to be used in a dining room, perhaps anchoring a pair of crystal chandeliers.
