This French walnut commode features a rectangular planked top sitting above two dovetailed drawers. Each drawer is simply adorned with recessed panels and accented with two linear handles flanking a central shield-shaped escutcheon. The uninterrupted verticality of the fluted side posts creates a perfect visual harmony on the façade. The sides are simply decorated with additional recessed panels. The chest is raised on four tall tapered legs.
