This long Swedish painted sideboard features a rectangular top with molded edges, sitting above four dovetailed drawers. Four elegant doors make up the rest of the front. These doors are adorned with diamond motifs, whose rhythmic repetition creates an elegant and serene effect on the ensemble. Each set of double doors is flanked by slender, slightly recessed cartouche-shaped motifs and opens to reveal two inner shelves offering great storage opportunities. This long buffet is raised on short tapering feet. It is painted in a light color typical of the Scandinavian taste for soft palettes, aiming at brightening the homes of the Swedes during the long, dark winters.
