SOLD A French Ecole d'Auteuil Impressionist majolica vase from the late 19th century, with barbotine décor of birds and flowers. Created in the later years of the 19th century by a group of Impressionist ceramists located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, this lovely vase features a deep blue ground, beautifully adorned with a barbotine décor depicting two birds, one of them perched on a delicate flower while the second one seems to be ready to join him. With its colorful appearance and nice proportions, this French Ecole d'Auteuil majolica vase from the late 19th century will bring a charming touch of elegance to any home decor.
