A French Louis XV period walnut table from the mid-18th century with acacia cabriole legs, scalloped apron and single drawer. Born in the Rhône Valley during the reign of King Louis XV "the Beloved", this charming French table will both suit a bedroom or a living room used as a side table or writing table. It features a rectangular two-planked solid walnut top with rounded corners, sitting above a scalloped apron with single drawer. The wooden knob that helps us open the drawer is original to the piece. The table is raised on four acacia cabriole legs resting on hoofed feet. With its lovely patina and elegant Louis XV lines, this French 1750s writing table from the Rhône Valley will bring a touch of elegance to any home.
