SOLD - 1860s Louis XVI Style Console Tables with Marbleized Tops and Carved Vases

SOLD - Two French Louis XVI style painted and console tables from the third quarter of the 19th century with curving faux-marble tops, reeded aprons, carved vases and fluted legs. The tables are priced and sold individually. Born under the reign of France's last Emperor Napoleon III, each of these painted console tables shows a direct influence from the Louis XVI era. Each table features a nicely shaped top with curving sides, sitting above an apron adorned with reeded motifs and a central carved vase. Each table is raised on four fluted tapering legs with carved rosettes on the knees. The elegance of the Neoclassical lines is perfectly complimented by the distressed soft grey finish, making these French 1860s console tables an excellent choice for any living room or dining room, whether used as a single or as a pair. They are priced $6,950 each.
