A French Louis XV style walnut enfilade from the late 19th century, with four drawers over four doors. This exquisite French long enfilade features a rectangular top with molded edges and rounded corners, sitting above four molded dovetailed drawers. Four doors make up the rest of the façade, each adorned with delicately molded scrolled motifs. The doors on each end present a delicate curve in their upper rail, gently leading our eye towards the centre of the piece. This buffet is adorned with a skirt scalloped on three sides, and decorated with an exquisite central carved shell flanked with foliage. The piece is raised on four feet, the front ones being scrolled while the back ones are straight. With its great proportions offering ample storage opportunities, its graceful silhouette and its lovely patina, this 1890s French walnut enfilade will compliment any decor beautifully, particularly in a living room or dining room.
