Born in France at the end of the Restauration period, this lovely commode presents the stylistic characteristics of the Louis XV era. This piece features a rectangular top with serpentine front, sitting above two dovetailed drawers each fitted with classical brass hardware. Accented on the side posts with fluted motifs, the commode is raised on four cabriole legs. With its graceful Louis XV style lines and lovely cherry patina, this French commode circa 1830 will bring a touch of elegance to any bedroom, living room or hallway.
