Born in Scandinavia during the 18th century, this exquisite tall secretary features an eye-catching carved crest adorned with pierced motifs, sitting above a delicate dentil molding. Two wooden doors decorated with diamond motifs, open to reveal inner shelves and hidden drawers offering great storage opportunities. The lower section is made of a slant-front desk with multiple drawers and compartments, that opens up to come and rest on two wooden pulls flanking a thin drawer. Open, the desk height is 29.5" while its depth is 32". Three larger drawers follow, each fitted with brass hardware, while the ensemble is raised on bracket feet. The secretary is painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes, aiming at brightening the homes during the long winters.
