A Swedish painted wood gateleg drop-leaf table from the 18th century, with bobbin legs, side stretchers, lateral drawer and distress finish. Born in Sweden during the 18th century, this charming painted gateleg table features a rectangular top whose sides fold down to rest along the base. Presenting four bobbin legs, two of which separate in halves to receive the top when open, the table is strengthened by plain side stretchers. Boasting a nicely distressed painted finish, this 18th century Swedish table will make for a great decorative addition to any home, particularly placed in a kitchen. Closed, the table is 19.25" W.
