A French mid 19th century Louis XV style cherry buffet à deux-corps from Brittany with carved floral motifs and molded panels. Born in the western area of Brittany during the second quarter of the 19th century, this French buffet à deux-corps features a tall and narrow upper cabinet topped with a bonnet crest, sitting above an exquisite floral décor. Two nicely curving doors with scrolling molded panels open to reveal inner shelves offering ample storage opportunities. The lower section showcases a buffet with two dovetailed drawers accented with molded cartouches, sitting above two molded doors. The ensemble is raised on four short feet, scrolled in the front and connected to one another through a scalloped skirt.
