Born in France during the Restauration period, each of this pair of armchairs features a slightly slanted back topped with a carved crest. Two scrolling, open arms flank a rectangular seat, presenting a new custom cushion, while the ensemble is resting on four cabriole legs connected to one another through a scalloped apron. With their graceful Louis XV lines and lovely patina, these walnut fauteuils circa 1820 will bring a touch of French elegance to any living room or bedroom.
