A French Louis XV style late 19th century walnut rack from Provence with carved motifs and scrolling feet. Created in Southern France during the last quarter of the 19th century, this Provençal walnut wall rack features a molded cornice resting on a carved panel from which are hanging petite finials. Two open shelves with scalloped skirts, offer great storage opportunities while the lower section is adorned with scrolling feet in the front and straight ones in the back. With its graceful Louis XV style lines and walnut patina, this Provençal rack circa 1880 will be a great addition to any home, particularly placed in a kitchen to organize spices and jars.
