A Swedish Rococo armchair from the late 18th century, with pierced splat, cabriole legs, cross stretcher and newer cushion. Created in Sweden during the late 18th century, this Rococo armchair features an open back with carved splat, flowing seamlessly into saber style legs. A rectangular seat, showcasing a newer cushion, is flanked with splaying arms with scrolling extremities. Adorned with cabriole legs in the front and strengthened by a serpentine cross stretcher, the chair is accented with remnants of green paint. With its nicely distressed finish and Rococo lines, this Swedish armchair circa 1780 will bring a graceful touch to any home decor.
