A French Louis XV style child's chair from the 19th century, with new upholstery. Created in France during the 19th century, this wooden child's chair charms us with its petite proportions and graceful Louis XV style lines. Carved with petite flowers on the crest, the slightly slanted back is connected to two open arms with scrolling knuckles, partially upholstered on the top. The seat, newly upholstered along with the back, with a neutral double welt fabric, is resting on four cabriole legs connected to one another through a scalloped apron, carved with delicate flowers. With its sinuous Louis XV lines and nice proportions, this 19th century French petite chair will be a great addition to any home, particularly placed in a child's room.
