SOLD A French Louis XVI style painted wood canapé en corbeille from the 19th century, with carved rams' heads, twisted ribbons and new upholstery. Created in France during the 19th century, this sofa features a wraparound back with twisted ribbon on the upper rail topped with carved roses on the crest. Two graceful arms are accented with carved rams' heads on their extremities. Upholstered with a neutral toned fabric, the sofa is raised on seven fluted legs. With its elegant Louis XVI style lines and skillfully carved décor, this 19th century French canapé en corbeille will bring a touch of Classicism to any living room or bedroom. The seat is 22.5"D x 19.63"H while the arms are 25"H.
