SOLD French Louis XV 1750s Walnut Buffet with Carved Apron and Original Hardware

SOLD A French Louis XV period walnut buffet from the mid-18th century, with carved apron and original hardware. Handcrafted in France during the reign of King Louis XV nicknamed "Le Bien-Aimé" (the Beloved), this walnut buffet features a rectangular planked top with rounded corners in the front, sitting above two doors opening, thanks to their original hardware, to inner shelves. Accented with fluted motifs, the buffet is raised on four legs, scrolled in the front and more straight in the back. The apron provides the perfect visual conclusion to this exquisite ensemble, with its beautifully carved urn surrounded by foliage. With its elegant lines and nice walnut patina, this Louis XV buffet circa 1750 will bring an undeniable touch of French refinement to any dining room or living room.
