SOLD A pair of French Louis XV period hand carved walnut doors from the mid-18th century, with molded panels and foliage decor. Born in France during the reign of King Louis XV nicknamed Le Bien-Aimé (the Beloved), each of this pair of carved doors features a molded cartouche in the center, placed between recessed panels. Adorned with delicate foliage carved in low-relief, these French Louis XV doors, circa 1750 strike by the refinement of their decor and the warmth of their patina, making them an excellent choice to decorate any home.
