A pair of Swedish neoclassical style grey painted benches from the mid-19th century, with pierced arm supports, carved motifs and new upholstery. Born in Sweden during the second half of the 19th century, each of this pair of benches features a rectangular seat newly recovered with double welt fabric, flanked with scrolling arm supports scrolling in their upper section. Raised on saber legs, the benches are adorned with arched motifs on their apron and carved rosettes on the knees. Painted in a light grey color, these Swedish neoclassical style benches circa 1860 will bring a touch of calm elegance to any living room or bedroom.
