Born in Sweden during the early years of the 20th century, this exquisite barrel back chair presents the stylistic characteristics of the neoclassical era. The crest is delicately accented with a carved bow while the two partially upholstered arms with scrolled knuckles, are adorned with acanthus leaves. Comprising of a custom cushion and recovered with a new double welt fabric, the chair is raised on four fluted legs connected to one another through a fluted apron. Painted in a soft color, this Swedish neoclassical style barrel back bergère circa 1920, will bring a graceful touch to any bedroom or living room.
