Born in Provence during the 19th century, this elegant footstool features a rectangular top covered in a new double welt cotton fabric, sitting above a lovely scalloped apron. Adorned with polychrome floral motifs in its center, the apron flows into the four cabriole legs decorated with rosettes on their knees. Painted in a soft color highlighted by the delicate tones of the flowers, this 19th century southern French Louis XV style footstool will bring a graceful touch to any home, particularly in a living room or bedroom placed in front of an armchair.
