A pair of French Louis XV style walnut armchairs from the 19th century, with carved aprons and new upholstery. Created in France during the 19th century, each of this pair of fauteuils features a slanted camelback, connected to two open partially upholstered arms with scrolling extremities. The seat, along with the back, has been newly reupholstered with a neutral toned double welt fabric. The fauteuil is raised on four cabriole legs connected to one another through a carved apron in the front, adorned with a delicate rocaille. With their graceful Louis XV lines and walnut patina, this pair of 19th century armchairs will bring a touch of French refinement to any living room or bedroom. The arm height is 24.5".
