Created in France during the 19th century, each of this pair of fauteuils features a slanted camelback, connected to two open partially upholstered arms with scrolling extremities. The seat, along with the back, has been newly reupholstered with a neutral toned double welt fabric. The fauteuil is raised on four cabriole legs connected to one another through a carved apron in the front, adorned with a delicate rocaille. With their graceful Louis XV lines and walnut patina, this pair of 19th century armchairs will bring a touch of French refinement to any living room or bedroom. The arm height is 24.5".
