Created in France during the 19th century, each of this pair of armchairs features a slightly curving back, adorned with a carved floral decor on the crest and guilloche motifs on the rail. Two open arms with acanthus leaves in the front, flank a central seat newly reupholstered, along with the back, with a new neutral-toned double welt fabric. Each chair is raised on four fluted legs with carved rosettes on the knees. Painted in a soft color, this pair of 19th century Louis XVI style armchairs will bring a touch of French classical elegance to any living room or bedroom.
