A pair of French Louis XV style painted wood marquises chairs from the 19th century, with carved crest, cabriole legs and new upholstery. Born in France during the 19th century, each of this pair of marquises presents the stylistic characteristics of the Louis XV era. A slanted back with carved crest is connected to two upholstered arms. The rectangular seat comprising of a custom made cushion, is resting on four short cabriole legs connected to one another through a carved apron in the front. This pair of French Louis XV style 19th century marquise chairs presents larger dimensions than regular bergères, making it a great choice to accentuate any living room or bedroom.
