Born in France during the 19th century, this elegant Bouillotte table features an exquisite marquetry circular top adorned in its center with a delicate décor of birds and cherries. The apron conceals a single dovetailed drawer accented with banding. The term Bouillotte comes from the card game of the same name (a version of the poker) which became extremely popular in France during the 19th century. The table is raised on four tapering legs resting on petite brass feet.
