SOLD A French Louis XV style painted wood two-seats canapé from the 19th century, with new upholstery and floral carved accents. Born in France during the politically dynamic 19th century, this charming canapé features a slightly slanted camelback, connected to two arms with out-scrolling knuckles. The sofa is upholstered on the back, arms and seat with a double welt fabric and presents two custom cushions. The ensemble, raised on cabriole legs connected to one another through a floral-carved apron in the front, is painted in a soft color that compliments the lines beautifully. With its nice proportions and lovely carved decor, this French 19th century Louis XV style canapé will bring a graceful touch to any living room.
