A Swedish late Gustavian slant front secretary from the early 19th century, with reeded motifs and bracket feet. Created in Sweden during the first quarter of the 19th century, this painted desk features a slanted desk (measuring 34.25"D x 32"H) opening to reveal multiple drawers surrounding a central door. Two pull-outs flank a reeded panel while the lower section showcases three dovetailed drawers. Raised on four ogee bracket feet, this late Gustavian desk circa 1820 is painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes, making it a great choice to decorate any living room, study or bedroom.
