A set of four French Napoléon III period carved panels from the late 19th century, with allegories of the hunt and of harvest. Created in France at the end of Emperor Napoléon III's reign, each of this set of four wall panels features a carved décor depicting hunting and harvesting allegories. Fish, birds, wheat and barrels are carved in low relief and stand out beautifully on a grey colored painted background accented with molded cartouches.
