SOLD - A French bleached wood enfilade from the late 19th century, with quarter veneer, parquet top, four doors, two drawers, carved accents and scrolling feet. Created in France during the last decade of the 19th century, this wooden enfilade features a discreet parquet style top with serpentine accents in the front, sitting above two dovetailed drawers over four doors. The drawers are adorned with recessed panels surrounded by scrolling motifs and grooved for the runner. Four doors, made of two taller ones on the side surrounding two shorter ones, complete the ensemble. All showcasing quarter veneer and recessed panels, these doors open to reveal inner shelves offering convenient storage space. The side doors are adorned with carved foliage echoed on the skirt while the center ones present molded frames with arching effects. Fitted with rococo style hardware, the enfilade is raised on eight feet, scrolling in the font and straight in the back. With its sinuous lines, great proportions, quarter veneer effects and bleached finish, this French enfilade circa 1890 will bring an undeniable touch of elegance to any home décor, particularly placed in a living room or dining room.
