Created in Sweden during the first quarter of the 19th century, this secretaire features a carved cornice with dentil molding and geometric motifs, sitting above two mullioned glass doors opening to reveal inner painted shelves. The slanted front opens to multiple drawers and compartments surrounding a central partitioned door, while the lower section showcases four graduated drawers. Raised on four bracket feet and painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes, this Swedish vitrine secretaire circa 1820 will be a great focal point in any living room, foyer or study.
