Created in Sweden during the last quarter of the 19th century, this painted sideboard features a rectangular top with beveled edges, sitting above two drawers framed with molded accents. Two doors below, carved with Classical urns in diamond motifs, open to reveal inner shelves. Painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste, the sideboard is raised on four short tapered feet. With its Classical lines and subtle carved décor, this Gustavian style sideboard circa 1880 will bring an elegant presence to any dining room, living room or kitchen.
