A set of six Swedish painted wood dining room side chairs from the early 20th century, with carved foliage and new upholstery. Created in Sweden during the early years of the 20th century, each of this set of side chairs features a pierced back with carved foliage motifs, connected to a rectangular seat reupholstered with a neutral toned fabric. Raised on fluted legs with carved rosettes on the front knees, connected to one another through spindle-shaped turned H-form stretchers, the chairs are painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes. With their clean lines and discreet décor, this set of six painted wood Swedish side chairs circa 1900 will make for a great addition to any dining room or breakfast area.
