Created in France during the Restauration period which saw a return of the Bourbon monarchy after the fall of the Napoleonic empire, our early 19th century farm table features a planked top with wonderful grain and typical knots showcasing serpentine lines on all of its four sides. The table is raised on a rectangular base made of four curving legs with pegg construction, boasting a nicely weathered patina. The ensemble results in a farm table with great character and soft colors. With its nice proportions, distressed patina and handsome top, this French Restauration period fir wood farm table circa 1820 will make for a lovely addition to any home, placed in a dining room or breakfast area, particularly in a country home or mountain cabin!
